its 4 in the morning, just 3 hrs till daybreak. question is why am i still awake?!?!?!
oh yah.. could be that im trying to squeeze every braincell in my brain in order to complete this post! coupled with a post with no end in mine, im screwed. oh well.

despite the holidays being here, for some weird reason, the normal holiday mood seems to have disappeard. *Poof* one possible reaon for that may be the lack of things TO DO during the holidays, or it could be just that im starting to become a workaholic... NOOOOOOOOOOO

what to do, what to say (just added that in just cause it sounds fitting. Im a talkative fella... really) haiz... However, every dark cloud does have a silver lining and hopefully the upcoming malacca trip will enrich my holiday making it more... fufilling? ahaha~

yeahh.. i know i havent been updating my blog as of late.

So anyways, yesterday my clique and i went out for the show "10 promises to my dog" which proves to be, well, interesting (look i ran out of ideas kkea?). So basically the show is about a dog (duh?) who gets adopted into a family and stays by akira (main lead) through all twists and turns that gets thrown into her life. In the beginning, Akira devoted all her time into taking care and loving the dog. But as she turns older, the time she is able to spend with socks (the dog's name due to its unique marking) drastically decreases and Akira even has to leave home for her work.
But eventually she is reminded of the 10 promises (look below for the 10 promises) she made with socks (together with her mum) as a child.

All in all, this is a movie largely has the feel of similiar movies such as "helen the baby fox" or "quail" with the story line revolving around an animal, be it a fox or a dog. The story is well thought out with certain twists with a tinge of humour (mainly the father). The movie mainly appeals to animal lovers or pet owners but families will enjoy it all the same. However a major letdown point of the movie is its lack of creativity as compared to the previous movies as mentioned earlier. I would give this movie a rating of 3 out of 5 only because of the characters being so well portrayed and emotions being realistically depicted.

EURO!!! in macdonalds

Okayy back to where i left off..

As the title suggests, we went to watch euro in macdonalds!!! Fun eh?

So basically we kinda took a risk by going to Serangoons macdonalds as we had no idea if it would be showing there. But luckily it was!!! yeah mann!!

So seeing as how near it is to my house, i went home first to deposit my stuff before meeting them again (the same group of people as my first post). By the time i reached there, it was already soming close to ten. But still it was 2 hours away before the first match so yeahh.. we kinda wasted time there..

Matches of the day:
Romania vs France 0-0
Italy vs Netherlands 0-3

WOW!! To think that the world champions got thrashed that badly.. Ouch man, Ouch.. But yeah, it was indeed a nice match! (a side note: Both Goalkeepers are captains for this match.. awesome..)

So we basically stayed in macs from 9pm to 5 in the morning. (which means 8 hours in macs)

Things we ordered during the 8 hours:
Me: 1 nine-peice spicy mcnugget, 2 medium green tea, 1 small green tea.
Eelee: 1 spicy mcnugget set (shared with Weixiang), 1 green tea mcflurry, 1 cup corn.
Weixiang: 1 spicy mcnugget set, 1 mcflurry.
Guo mun: 1 nine-peice mcnugget, 1 coke?, one mcflurry.

All this spread out in 8 hours... cool aint it?

With that said there is prety much nothing left to be said. So i guess i shall finish it off here.

Badminton craze!

Yes yes... once again i do know that i am a day late for publishing this post.

So badminton.... what can be said about it?.. hmm...

Since i ran out of any superbly way to start, lets start from the top shall we?

Statistics:
1:30pm, time im supposed to meet them (Eelee, Weixiang and Guo mun)
1:30pm, time i left my house.. (ahaha~)

So yeah.. that pretty much means i'm late... ahaha~

Never mind that.. we eventually still got to Bradell Heights cc on time!!! (Bradell Heights cc being the venue to play at whilst 2 pm being the intended time to start)

Things to note during the trip:
1) I got my ass kicked.
2) I fell multiple times.
3) Eelee is seriously accident prone!! (try getting whacked by a shuttlecock straight in the face!)
4) I suck at Badminton.
5) Guo mun and Weixiang are seriously good at badminton!! (well at least better than me)

Hmm.. that pretty much sums up the whole trip i guess.. Kinda boring eh?

fast-forward.
By the time we ended badminton, it was around, lets say, five?

So came the satisfying part of the trip.. Dinner!!!!! ahaha~

Dinner was setttled at chomp chomp( is that how its even spelt?) We pretty much ordered things from different stalls without touching stall bbq stall.. But eventually we did order ONE stingray.. ahaha~

After dinner (which ended about 8), we went to watch euro... i shall blog about this i my next post...

Firstly i would like to thank Guo mun for letting us crash at his place to watch the match.

Hmm..

There isnt much to be said about Euro 2008 except that it great! For starters:

Switzerland (Host country) vs Czech Republic ) 0-1
Portugal vs Turkey 1-0

Things i learnt during the match on staurday night (Swi vs Czech)
1) Petr Cech is from Czech Republic!!
2) Switerzland is a kinda underarted team.
3) i dont now what else to say..

Things i learnt about the match on sunday morning (Por vs Tur)
1) Portugals' number 11 has a very fat ass!!
2) Portugals number 21 has a face of a pirate!
3) Turkeys number 2 has a freakin hairy face!!
4) Portugals Captain, Nuno Gomes is a very good shot but just unlucky in that match.

And thats about all i can remember abt the 2 opening matches of the euro cup.

Damn i hate my memory..

Stargazing escapade that went wrong.... AHAHA

Okayy...

So basically( as the title suggests..) we went stargazing on friday night!!!! Yes yes i DO know that i am a few days late.. How did this brilliant idea come about u ask? Well it sort of went like this:

Venue : opposite schools path
Date : I forgot?
Time : At night..

Eelee: ooh... look at the pretty stars!!! i wonder where on earth is the north star?
Joshua: (stupidly looks up)
Eelee: hmm.. we should go stargazing one day!!
Everyone else: Awesome suggestion!!! Woot!!
Joshua: (still looking up)

And yeah.. that was kinda how we decided to stargazing..

So anyways, we went Pasir Ris Park to... well..... stargaze. But as fate would have it, it was cloudy that night. Oh well at least there was still the sand.. or so we thought

Frankly speaking i seriously had no idea that when it was high tide, the tide level would be that high!! I mean at one moment sand heaven and the next, water paradise. Haiz..

So what next??

Lucky for us, Weixiang brought a deck of cards and so sparked continuos taidi.. which thankfully wasnt so bad. From there i learnt 2 things.

1) Eelee is either very good at Taidi or she is freaking lucky at it.
2) Anything that is soccer related has a chance of being stolen by Eelee.

Okayy.. so fast forward. We eventually stopped playing Taidi and headed to the playground to, well, play. And once again that was a random and impulsive decision. But who cares!! Its a PLAYGOUND!!

As if going to the playground wasnt tiring enough( btw it was damn far.. and damn early in the moring) Eelee had to once again make a random decisison to play catching.. correction.. PITCH-DARK catching. But that too stopped when Grace got whacked straight in the face by a rope which she couldnt see.. (Ouch?) But anyways it was fun while it lasted.

Two more morals could be dereived from this:
1) Never, Ever play catching with anyone wearing a black shirt in the wee hours in the morning.
2) If you cannot see something, it doesnt mean it isnt there. It just means you cant see it.

And then came the sunrise!! One problem though.. we couldnt find the sun... Thus we wound up watching the sky turn blue... cool eh? Come on you know its cool but just dont want to admit it!!

So, the final word for our stargazing trip?
1) we didnt see any stars ALTHOUGH it was supposed to be a star gazing trip.
2) we didnt see the sunrise either ALTHOUGH it was supposed to be the best part of the trip.

HAIZ..

Never mind.. one day i will look back at this and laugh at it.
